Explanation of Reference Format

This reference list is a compilation of a list obtained from a network survey on the best books in the Unix arena and those books specific to our environment. Those books marked with the symbol, * indicate that they are available for checkout from out MMM Division collection. In addition, some Sun, DEC, and SGI manual sets are available for checkout, but they will not be referenced in this list.
