
The online help within Windows 2000/XP is quite extensive. Please refer to it when you have general Windows questions and to receive more detail on information listed in this guide.
To use the online help, click on the Start menu and select Help (for Windows 2000) or Help and Support (for Windows XP).

Searching the Online Help Index can be a very quick and helpful tool for finding information. To search the index, open the Online Help, click on the Index tab (Windows 2000) or icon (Windows XP) located at the top of the window. Enter the keyword that you wish to search on and immediately the index will take you to that section. Highlight the information that you wish to view and click on the Display button located at the bottom of the window.
Below is an example. I typed in "folder", then I highlighted "finding Folder Options in Windows 2000" and clicked on Display. The information that I need is displayed on the right side of the window.
Along with the Windows Online Help, each commercial software application that is installed comes with online help as well. You will find the online help within each application under its Help menu.
For example, under Eudora, the online help is under the Help menu, and is called Topics
