MMM Divison - Systems Management Group (SMG)

The MMM divisional computing environment is managed by the Systems Management Group. The areas of expertise cover a broad spectrum of operating systems and hardware platforms. For informational purposes, primary areas of responsibility are detailed below; however, within the group the boundaries are not as rigid. Tasks are assisgned depending on current workload and special projects. In the interest of efficiency, staff are strongly encouraged to use the assist utility for submitting requests for assistance.

In addition to the daily operational activities, the SMG is also working on additional long-term projects.
