The 8th WRF Users' Workshop will take place at the NCAR's Center Green campus, Boulder, Colorado, on 11 - 15 June 2007.
Papers in all areas of WRF model development and testing are solicited, including model verification, comparison study with MM5 or other mesoscale models, convection-resolving modeling, simulations of high-impact weather, regional climate, assimilation, ensemble forecasting, and atmospheric chemistry. A full workshop program will be posted on the web by May 20.
The workshop will begin on Monday, 11 June, with voluntarily organized working group meetings. This is not limited to the existing WRF Working Groups. Interested groups or individuals should contact wrfhelp for assistance in scheduling these meetings. Group meeting schedule will be posted on the web prior to the workshop. All interested users are encouraged to participate.
Short tutorial sessions will be offered for WRF-Var's new capabilities, WRF Chemistry, and WRF verification toolkit.
In addition to the Developer Forum (or Q&A Session) during the workshop, WRF helpdesk will open for several sessions for users to discuss their special issues with developers.
All workshop activities will be finished by noon Friday, 15 June 2007.

The early registration fee is $175.00. If you register after 1 June, the registration fee will be $225.00.
