Dear Ice Initiative Participant:

We invite you to attend an ICE-L field campaign planning meeting to be held on Monday,4 June 2007, and 1/2 day on Tuesday, 5 June 2007, at NCAR. The meeting will be held in the EOL Atrium at Foothills Lab. The objectives of the workshop are to:

  1. Update the instrument payload, with brief presentations by each of the PI's.
  2. Discuss instrument placement on the C130, and prioritize the instrument complement.
  3. Develop flight plans for the C130. PI's need to identify flight requirements for their project.
  4. Because additional aircraft may be involved in the campaign, develop multi-aircraft, coordinated flight plans.
  5. Discuss forecasting and proposed daily flight operations
  6. Discuss educational outreach activities.
