The Atmospheric
Technology and Mesoscale
& Microscale Meterology Divisions at NCAR invite
you to participate in a workshop on June 7 and 8, 2004,
to
discuss
the current
status and
the outlook for future progress in the area of
ice initiation in clouds. Future work will include field programs,
laboratory experiments, and modeling. The goals of this workshop
are to
review current knowledge in this area and to develop
two or three experiments that can make meaningful progress on
the ice initiation problem. This information will
form the basis for a Scientific Overview Document
(SOD).
