Local Hotels and Reservations

Some of the more conveniently-located hotels are listed below. In addition to the prices listed here, many Boulder hotels offer a special rate for those visiting on NCAR business; inquire with individual hotels when calling to make your reservation. (Rate quotes may not be up-to-date.) Please remember that summer is a busy season here, and hotels are booked up quickly. Make your reservation as early as possible.

This hotel is next to the new NCAR Center Green facility (where the final two days of the the WRF/MM5 summer workshops will be held) and within walking distance of the NCAR Foothills Lab. The rooms have kitchens, and the hotel offers a free continental breakfast.

Cost per night: Single, ~$99.00 (plus tax), with complimentary breakfast in the mornings.

This hotel has many amenities including tennis courts, bike and jogging paths. Shuttle service will be provided between this hotel and the NCAR Foothills Lab as necessary

Cost per night: Single, ~$79.00 plus tax in summer months and ~$59.00 plus tax in winter months, with complimentary coffee, tea, juice, and pastries in the mornings.
A block of rooms will been reserved for the class (Ask for 'MMM Workshops block' to obtain the discounted rate.)

This hotel is conveniently located right across the street from the Crossroads Mall, where there is a stop for the NCAR shuttle (see the information on the NCAR shuttle). It is also near downtown Boulder and many restaurants.
