An Indo-U.S. Workshop on High Performance Computing for Regional
Weather and
Climate will be held at NCAR in Foothills Lab, Building 2, Auditorium,
the afternoon of June 30th, following adjournment
of the WRF Users Workship, through the morning of Saturday July
2, 2005. The purpose of this invitation-only workshop, funded
by the
Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum, will be to identify scientific
problems of mutual interest in regional weather and climate,
to formulate
joint projects for research using high-performance computers,
and to engage
in discussions on a proposal for a joint Indo-U.S. center on
regional
weather and climate studies. Additional information, including

Attendees are asked to present research interests, work, and
ideas for
collaborative projects. The presentation schedule will be finalized
once the
final list of attendees is known.
The workshop will provide lodging plus some additional partial
support for per-diem and travel (to be determined) for out-of-town
invited participants. A block of rooms has been reserved at The
