The tutorial will consist of a series of lectures on various components of the WRF ARW modeling system and hands-on practice sessions, including:
Basic knowledge of atmospheric science, numerical weather prediction as well as Fortran and UNIX is required for the class. All participants are strongly encouraged to work through the ARW on-line and the WRF-VAR on-line tutorials before attending.
Due to the constraints of physical space and workstations, the maximum number of people we can accommodate is 50, and we will accept 10 people on a waiting list for any cancellations. Register early, as registration always exceed capacity!
The registration fee is $400 ($300 for University students and Post-docs).
Payments are due by November 10, 2006 and there will be no refunds for cancellations made after January 8, 2007.
Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation that you have registered.
Confirmation that you have been accepted to the tutorial class will be sent
once payment has been received.
If payment has not been received by the November 10, 2006 deadline, you will be removed from the tutorial and your spot given to someone on the waiting list. Participants on the waiting list will be notified as soon as possible regarding available space in the class.

If you need to cancel your attendance at the WRF ARW Tutorial, please be aware of our policy:
Before January 8, 2006 we will refund your registration fee less $25.00 to cover administrative fees.
After January 8, 2006 there will be no refunds.
