Typical Use(s) of the MM5 model: I use it for modeling everyday weather, mostly over the South Central U.S. I find the results to be very close to actual events. I use a 30km grid right now centered right over Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Mostly for severe weather potential days.
