About the Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Division.
Comprised of approximately 70 staff and an ever-revolving group of visiting researchers, MMM conducts collaborative research to further our understanding of some of the most important and fundamental scientific questions in meteorology, with an emphases on understanding and forecasting weather, and on weather's relationship to climate.
The Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology Division is one of 4 divisions within the Earth and Sun Systems Laboratory of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. NCAR is managed by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR).
