Terminal Server

MMM now has a Windows Terminal Server. A Terminal Server allows a user to remotely log onto a Windows Server. Once logged on, it looks like you are sitting at the console of a Windows systems with the standard graphical desktop and navigation abilities.

Connecting to the Terminal Server

The terminal server can be accessed from Linux, Solaris, Mac OSX, and of course Windows systems. Use your existing Windows user account to log onto this system. If you do not have an account or forgot your password, contact Jose Castilleja (ext. 8998).

Software Installed on Terminal Server

The following list of software is currently installed on the Terminal Server. Some software packages do not work well in a multi-user environment. As a result, Meeting Maker is NOT INSTALLED on the terminal server.
Other packages may be considered for installation.

Session Properties

Access to this server is somewhat limited. The division purchased licenses to allow for 20 concurrent users of this server. Because of the limited resources, certain rules have been established to prevent licenses from being allocated but not used.
