The 32^th BMB-NCAR Project Meeting

Time: 3:00 pm~4:00 pm, 12 March, 2007

NCAR/MMM Participants: Dir Kuo, Dr Huang, Yong-Run Guo and Dr Wang, Shuiyong Fan

1. Dir.Kuo emphasized that 3h RUC system with 3km resolution WRF/MM5 model must be frozen before Sep 07. The work of WRF model tuning and 3km data assimilation should be done before that time.

2. Shuiyong should continue Yanli’s work of “8.01” and “7.09” cases after Yanli’s leaving, especially “8.01” case. This case study will be an important work in the BMB-NCAR project.

3. Shuiyong should run 3h cycle with 9km WRF model in NCAR environment and make 3km BE with the data brought from IUM during these two weeks.

4. Dir.Kuo suggested a teleconference with IUM on some time. And Dr.Wang wanted a WRF model rerun for the test week from 07/25 to 08/01 by IUM. She just needed some new verification results.
