Presentation in CWB and TTFRI

                    Yong-Run Guo gave 2 talks during this visit to CWB and TTFRI in April 2011:

                    1, "CV3 Background Error Statistics and Tuning Experiments with WRFDA" presented at 10am, Friday, 8 April in CWB
                    2, "GSI BE and CV3 BE: New gen_be Utility for regional WRF GSI BE" presented at 2:30pm, Monday, 18 April in TTFRI

Utility "gen_be" for regional WRF-ARW-GSI-BE

                   shell scripts: generate the BE file: wrf-arw-gsi_be.gcv (binary file) --- wrapper_gen_be_gsi.ksh
                                        plot the BE file in pdf format: wrf-arw-gsi_be.gcv.pdf --- wrapper_gen_be_gsi_plot.ksh

                   In this example, the initial times for WRF forecasts are from 2009080312Z to 2009080800Z for Typhoon Morakot.
                   The WRF forecasts are from the 6h cycling run with relocation, CV3 BE, and one outer-loop.
