Welcome to the KMA Project page!

1. Introduction

KMA Project is the collaboration between NCAR/MMM and KMA (Korea Meteorological Adminstration) for  data assimilation  with Global and regional  WRF 3D-Var system.

OBS Preprocessor for KMA 2005 Project can be downloaded from kma_2005_project_obs_proc (04/17/2006).

       This new OBS Preprocessor program  can write out the observation file in ASCII or NCEP prebufr format or both of the formats
        depending on the settings in namelist.3dvar_obs. Please read the README and README.namelist files after your un-tarred
        the downloaded file.

       The program converting the kma bufr observations to little_r obsevartions is committed to 3DVAR_OBSPROC repository on 04/27/2006.

All other components of the wrfvar system can be downloade from WRFVAR_kma_2005_project (04/15/2006).
