The problem that cycle of the latest wrf version canŐt run
has been resolved with the efforts of Ju-won and Yong-run. But from the
verification scores of DDFI and TDFI provided by Ju-won, DFI configurations
need further tuning.
Wei: Prepare a storm case for DFI test; Make a final version
for the combined wrfvar and wrf+dfi.
Ju-won: In
addition to the results of coldstart+nodfi, cycle+nodfi and cycle+dfl we
already have, make tests for coldstart+dfl/tdfi/ddfi.
Min: Further
tune dfi configuration; Make the humidity un-filtered and compare the spin-up
effects; Recalculate dmudt and dpsdt without the grid-points with high terrain
to check whether the relatively high noise at the beginning of the filtered
forecast can be removed or not.
