Professional Interests

Any piece of information which may be linked with weather, I feel like investigating for making best use of it. It has leaded me to develop my expertise in the field of Atmospheric Data Assimilation. I love implementing new ideas and research into action for operational weather forecasting. New techniques of observing weather always fascinates me and will continue to provide enough motivations to pursue my work. In particular, I am interested in how best the NWP model forecast errors may be used in filtering observation noise using variational technique. I am also keenly interested in enhancing computational efficiency of various software that are used in data assimilation field.
