Professional Interests

My main research interest is in mesoscale and convective-scale data assimilation. My work involves development of data assimilation techniques for high-resolution numerical models and study of the impact of high-resolution analysis on short-term NWP. One of my main focuses is on the use of radar observations to improve the prediction of high-impact weathers through the improved initial conditions and microphysics.
