What is NEW
- These pages have not yet been updated for WRF version 3. But the information on these pages as relevant for version 3. Were there are differences between version 2 and version 3 a note has been added to the pages to reflect the difference. (April 2008)
- New cases studies have been added. (October 2007)
- The WRF Preprocessing System (WPS) replaced the WRF Standard Initialization (WRFSI) in the December 2006 release.
New users are recommended to only use WPS, for this reason the WRFSI part of the tutorial has been removed. (October 2007)

• This tutorial has been designed to take you through the WRF ARW programs step by step.
Simply follow the  at the bottom of each page to continue.
• Some of the links on these pages are mouse-over's, specially in the namelist pages. Example.
If these do not work, please enable Java on your computer.

• We recommend that you work through this tutorial before you try to run WRF ARW on your own.
• If you plan on attending one of our biannual tutorials in Boulder, we recommend that you work through this online tutorial before attending the tutorial.
