ABOUT WRFHELP
WRFHELP
"wrfhelp" is an email assistance service
to provide user support. Questions regarding WRF and its use should
be directed to wrfhelp@ucar.edu.
On NCAR's IBM computer (e.g. bluevista), WRF,
WPS source codes and pre-compiled executables can be accessed from
the ~wrfhelp directory. The terrestrial datasets used in WPS are
also available in the wrfhelp's account under /mmm/users/wrfhelp/WPS_GEOG.
HOW TO REPORT A PROBLEM?
If you would like to report a problem, you may
send an email to wrfhelp@ucar.edu, making use of the subject line
to indicate the issue. If you have received an error message in
attempting to compile and run the system software, please include
it in the email.
For compilation problems, return the code to the
original state (e.g. by typing 'clean -a' for WRF, and 'make cleanall'
for WRF SI, or begin with a new tar file), recompile, and save the
compilation output to a file, and send it in the email. If you have
made modification to the code, always test the provided code first.
For run-time problems, locate the error messages,
and include it in the email. In addition, including your namelist
file is helpful.
