The WRFDA tar file has been updated to Version 3.3.1 on September 27, 2011.

The WRFPLUS (WRF adjoint and tangent linear model) has been upgraded to V3.3.1 and is consistent with the released WRF version 3.3.1. Three simplified physics packages were added into WRFPLUS: surface drag (pbl_bl_physics=98), large-scale condensation (mp_physics=98) and a cumulus scheme (cu_physics=98), but use these with caution.
WRF 4D-Var lateral boundary condition (LBC) control has been improved to consider the perturbation of LBCs at the start of the assimilation window when LBC control is turning off.
The calculation of innovation of surface observations has been improved to compare the observation with the surface fields in firstguess.
For 4D-var minimization, P and PH are keep unchanged after analysis. Our preliminary experiments show that this has a postive impact.
Lots of bug fixes.
