Goals for Day 1 practical session:

Obtain and compile the model, generate real-data initial conditions for a global quasi-uniform simulation, run the simulation, and make basic plots of the model output. Move the refinement region in a variable-resolution mesh, produce real-data initial conditions, and run a variable-resolution simulation.

Goals for Day 2 practical session:

Create a limited-area mesh, interpolate initial and boundary conditions, and run a limited-area simulation. Define a new output stream, and restart the simulation. Examine and visualize the limited-area output.

Depending on interest, choose one or more of the following: define a new passive tracer in the model, add a new diagnostic field to the model, or try to run a larger simulation from scratch.
